Services

Registry Unlimited offers a wide range of registration, information, and licencing services on behalf of the Government of Alberta. Services provided include motor vehicle registration, driver licencing and testing, personal property (lien) searches and registrations, land title searches, corporate registry searches, and vital statistics searches.

Vital Statistics

Vital Statistics services include application for birth, death and marriage certificates, marriage licences, legal name changes and genealogical searches.

Corporate Services

Corporate Registry services includes: searches, certificates and historical information on Alberta societies, non-profit corporations, trade names partnerships and both Alberta and extra provincial limited liability partnerships and corporations. Services also include registrations, revivals, name changes and other amendments, filing annual returns for Alberta and extra provincial corporations, annual reports for Alberta and extra provincial limited liability partnerships, and amendments for trade names, partnerships, limited partnerships, etc.

Motor Vehicles and Drivers’ Licences

Operator/driver’s services include searches and driving abstracts, driver testing services and suspension services, fine payments and information regarding vehicle seizures. Vehicle services include a vehicle information report, personalized licence plate application, antique licence plates, commercial licencing service, motor cycle and off highway licencing, intransit permits and some prorate services.

Land Titles

Land Titles searches include information on property owners, caveats, and mortgages. Land Title searches can also provide information on surface rights and mineral rights.

Personal Property Registry

Personal Property Registry services include searches on individual or business debtor name, serial number, and registration number. Distribution Seizure and Related Writ searches are also available. Registration services include: Security Agreements, Sale of goods or Factors Act, Garageman's Lien, Crown Charge, Land Charge, Statutory Charge, Court Orders, Writs of Enforcement, Attachment Orders, Matrimonial Property Order, Maintenance Order, Railway Rolling Stock and Receiver's Reports. Other registration services include: discharges, amendments and renewals.
